Privacy notice

This website is for Finger Lakes Woodworks and Jim Liebel in Bloomfield, New York. For questions, email liebel.jim@gmail.com or call (585) 721-9007.
Project inquiries
Our forms ask for contact details and basic project information. In email-draft mode, the website prepares text in your browser and you send it using your email app, addressed to Jim with Justin Honeck, our website and inquiry coordinator, copied. When direct delivery is enabled, the button says “Send my inquiry” or “Send my project inquiry.” Submitting then shares the details with Jim Liebel (liebel.jim@gmail.com) and Justin Honeck (jhoneck82@gmail.com) through Resend, our email delivery provider. Acceptance for delivery does not mean either recipient has read the message.
Jim and the people helping him manage inquiries use these details to evaluate your project, respond, and manage any subsequent work. Consent to a project response is not a marketing subscription. Please omit financial account details, government identifiers, medical information, and other sensitive information. The website does not save form entries in browser storage or application console logs.
Optional Microsoft Clarity analytics
With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website through behavior metrics, heatmaps, and session replays. Clarity may receive page URLs, browser and device information, IP-related technical data, clicks and scrolling, and cookies that connect page visits. It reconstructs page activity rather than filming your screen. The 3D canvas itself is not captured. We use fixed events such as tour chapters, inquiry steps, and email-delivery acceptance to understand usability.
We mask inquiry forms and displayed drafts before Clarity loads. Our custom analytics events do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, property details, messages, or inquiry IDs. A delivered inquiry remains separate from analytics. A phone-link click does not tell us whether a call connected or became a customer.
Clarity does not load until you select “Allow analytics.” Declining leaves it off. We request analytics storage permission and deny advertising storage permission. We do not install advertising pixels or use custom identity matching. We also keep analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. A consent preference is stored locally for up to 180 days. Use “Privacy choices” at the bottom of a page to change it. Turning analytics off reloads the page and clears any unsent form entries.
Clarity processes data under Microsoft's policies, which describe its own purposes and retention. See Microsoft's privacy statement and Clarity retention information. Clarity recordings generally remain available for 30 days; favorited sessions and aggregate information can be retained longer under its settings.
Campaign information
Campaign codes can accompany an inquiry to help explain how you found us. The refined page may store source, medium, campaign, content, and the referring hostname for the life of the browser tab. The original page and interactive tours keep their campaign codes in page memory. We do not put contact details in campaign tags. These clues are not definitive proof of a referral or commission entitlement. If you consent to analytics, Clarity also processes page URLs and referral information, so do not include personal information in website links.
Hosting and other providers
Vercel processes technical requests to host and protect this site. Email providers process inquiry messages. The original homepage loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation files from cdnjs, which receive the associated browser requests; the newer designs use local visual assets. These providers have their own privacy policies. We have not enabled call recording or automated marketing messages through this website.
Your choices and records
You can call or email Jim instead of using a form. Ask Jim to correct or delete inquiry information or stop contacting you. Correspondence needed for active projects, accounts, or legal obligations may need to be retained. We do not sell inquiries to other builders. Operational access and retention should be reviewed as the business's systems develop.
